beautiful groundskind staffdead spidersinconsistent service
the hotel grounds were beautiful (like a peaceful painting!). the staff in the bar and restaurant were very kind. they helped to. the breakfast offered many choices and soya milk was available when i asked.
my standard double room needed some updating. i noticed dead spiders and cobwebs. service was inconsistent. a waiter took away my half-full drink without asking, odd.

The grounds were well kept with a beautiful setting near the lake and canal.
I booked a standard double room. It was not up to the expected standard, with dead spiders and cobwebs visible. The finish was shabby and dust was present throughout.
